The project aim is to improve the quality of perinatal care and follow-up care at the University Hospital in Hradec Kralove. The focus of this project is on modernize the instrumentation of two clinics - Eye Clinic and Department of Otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery. Both clinics are involved in the perinatal center FN HK and follow-up care.
Perinatal Center FN HK and follow-up care is a comprehensive health care provided to patients with risk of perinatal stress or other illnesses in childhood. The reason of this project based on the identification of weaknesses in the areas of this specialized care. A priority of this project is the purchase of modern medical equipment to the chosen clinics. Required instrumentation will contribute significantly to the development and improvement of multidisciplinary follow-up care.
The medical instruments which will be purchased will be aimed at optometry, detection and monitoring of eye disorders, diagnostic report for the detection of hearing loss in children, and a system for independent adjustment of assistive devices and apparatus for early diagnosis of defects and malformations in the nasal cavity.
In addition to the costs associated with the purchasing medical devices, the project budget includes the cost of training and education of medical staff and the cost for necessary publicity.
